The A.B.C. Clinic provides support for children with autism,language delays and behavioural problems

Both specialist provision and mainstream schools are reporting a substantial increase in the number of children coming to them with an A.S.D diagnosis.

The A.B.C. Clinic offers support to schools in the inclusion of A.S.D. children, in the following areas
  • Designing I.E.P.’s and prioritising targets
  • Identifying appropriate communication systems (PECS, Sign language, etc)
  • Designing behavioural management programmes.
  • Designing programmes to improve social interactions with peers
The A.B.C. Clinic offers various models of training and support to schools including:
  • Half /whole day In-Service Training.
  • Clinic support focussing upon individual students
  • Clinic support focussing upon groups of students
